Lemonade Storm is run by two sisters. The store's name comes from a combination of our nicknames.

We started our shop after discussing craft fairs, comic and anime conventions, and getting requests from friends.

Lemonade (the younger sister):
"I've been crafting for a long time so no idea when I really started. I remember visiting our grandparents when we were young and our grandma would always give us a new project to work on. They were usually things that went with seasons like pine cone bird feeders, Christmas ornaments, and other holiday decorations. I enjoyed doing lots of different projects as I got older, too, like cross stitch, candlewicking, plastic canvas needle points, etc."

Storm (the older sister):
"I can't remember a time that I wasn't involved in something artsy/crafty. It's always been a part of me and who I am. I was the child that would rather craft than play outside. Crafting allows me to be that child again, add my professional flair to items, and make products that reflect my desire to create."

Although the physical items are crafted by each sister individually, we do our supply purchasing and brainstorming together.

We both tend towards the perfectionist side. So you know that you'll be getting a quality item that we've worked hard on. :)
